Guidelines for Abstract submission

  • YUVA-ISACON Telangana State 2025 Registration is mandatory for participation and presentation. ISA Membership is mandatory for any type of participation in YUVACON National & ISACON Telangana including Award Paper Presetation, Free Platform Paper / Podium Presentation, E Poster Presentation.
  • Eligibility
    • PG's and Young Anaesthesiologists below 40y age can participate.
    • PG's need to submit a letter from HOD permitting them to present the particular Presentation.
    • It is mandatory that the first (main) author should be the presenting author and the award will only be given to the first author.
    • The abstract must be original and should not be published elsewhere earlier.
  • 3 modes of presentation: Award paper presentations, Podium presentations, and E-Poster presentations. One speaker is allowed to submit only two abstracts in separate categories e.g., He/She may submit an abstract for one Award Paper Presentation and one Podium Presentation.
  • Notifications regarding submission receipt will be sent to the corresponding author in 2-3 days post submission.
  • The final decision regarding the Award paper presentation rests with Organizing Committee and the Conference scientific committee regarding selection for the Award based on a blinded peer review. The Paper Presentations not chosen for the Award category will be shifted to the Podium Presentation Category and informed. The authors should reply back if presenting or declining in advance. Abstracts of all original articles should be complete with statistical analysis and conclusions to be accepted.
  • Acceptance of Award papers will be notified only after review. All the authors of Award Paper Presentation to exclude all identifying information from the article abstract file.
  • Last date for submission of abstracts is 31st March 2025.
  • A maximum of 6 authors are allowed for each abstract (including the presenting author).
  • Presentation of all modes of presentation is by the first author only. 2nd or 3rd authors will be allowed to present only under extraordinary circumstances, with prior permission of the organizing Scientific Committee Chairman.
  • Abstracts stating "data will be discussed in presentation" will not be accepted.
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  • Award Paper Presentation category: Only Original Research articles will be considered.
  • Free Paper and E-Poster Presentation: Original Research articles, Case Reports, Case Series (< 10 cases), innovations, will be considered.
  • If a presentation is found to be plagiarized, it will be reported to ISA National for appropriate action.
  • Upload the file in Times New Roman in Size 12 in PDF File Only.
  • Abstracts should be of 250 words only excluding the title & reference.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Please follow UK English and should be used uniformly throughout the text [e.g., anaesthesia (NOT anesthesia), haemoglobin (NOT hemoglobin), programme (NOT program), haemodynamics (NOT hemodynamics), etc.]
  • Provide the complete form of abbreviations at the time of first use
  • Please do a plagiarism check before submission.
  • Mention if it is submitted for publication.
